“Before Annas and the Court of Caiaphas”

Christ's Divine Dignity Amid Perjury, Mockery, and Peter's Heartbreaking Denial

Led bound from Gethsemane to Annas and the Sanhedrin at Caiaphas' palace, Jesus stood with tranquil heavenly dignity while false witnesses contradicted one another. When adjured by the high priest, He openly affirmed His deity and second coming, even as outside the courtyard Peter tragically denied his Lord and wept in bitter contrition.
